Classroom Teachers

Louisiana’s teachers help children achieve academically and learn the skills they will need to be successful and productive citizens. LAE offers a host of materials to help teachers understand the unique challenges of today’s classrooms and develop groundbreaking solutions to strengthen the state's public schools.

Education Support Professionals

Louisiana's paraprofessionals, food service professionals, bus drivers, custodians, and other non-certified school employees, take care of children every day and make sure they have the tools they need to succeed in our schools and classrooms. LAE offers special programs for Louisiana's dedicated education support professionals to help them perfect their craft.

Retired
 Educators

Retired teachers and other school employees are powerful advocates on critical issues. While health care and Social Security are major concerns for retired members, the association also offers opportunities for retirees to get involved in current association initiatives so they can maintain their activism on issues that impact Louisiana's school communities.

Students

The association provides future teachers with tools and resources to help them become comfortable with the aspects of the classroom to set them on a path to a successful career.
